ABOUT US

A & A TRANSLATORS was founded by Sandra Anticona, a university graduate professional translator, and technical professional translator Christian Arista, each with over 15 years of professional practice. We do not only share our profession but also our lives together in marriage.


SANDRA ANTICONA ARENAS

Sandra Anticona completed her professional training in 1999 at Universidad Femenina del Sagrado Corazon (UNIFE) where she earned a Professional Degree in Translation and Interpreting in Spanish, English and French. An active member of the Peruvian Translators’ Association (Registration 0475) Sandra founded A & A Translators while still working as staff translator for a Lima law firm. Sandra is constantly looking to gain more knowledge and experience on the job, but also through ongoing training in specific areas of personal and professional interest. CHRISTIAN ARISTA ROJAS

Christian Arista graduated from Escuela Superior de Traducción e Interpretation (ESIT) in 1997 as a professional technical translator specialized in Spanish-English-French translation. An active member of the Asociacion de Traductores Profesionales del Peru (Peruvian Association of Professional Translators or ATPP) with registration number 076, he currently works as a freelance translator for various national and foreign companies and translation agencies from USA, Canada and Belgium. Throughout his time as a freelance translator, he has gained particular experience in a range of fields including pharmacology, heavy equipment and machinery and international organizations. His concern for and interest in the environment led him to become a translation volunteer for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). More about Christian in his LinkedIN profile.
